CSPS singers Melanie Davis and Lela Philbrook gave a "joint" recital on June 10, 2007 at Indian Boundary recital hall. They each performed Italian, English and German art songs and arias which were enthusiastically received by the full house audience. Congratulations to both of them. This was part of their 3rd year requirements as aspiring professional singers for CSPS.

On Sunday, February 25, 2007 CSPS soprano Akilia McCain performed in "The 3 Sopranos" and guests held at the congregation of Park Manor, 7000 Martin Luther King Drive accompanied by George Tenegal.

On Saturday, February 24, 2007 CSPS singers: Joe Freer, John Kladis, Stuart Bard, Lela Philbrook, Megan Simmons, Cecilia Anderson and Lindy Thomas performed "Croonin for Coolies," benefit concert at the Oak Brook Renaissance for blood diseases: Coolies Anemia and Thalassemia, presented by the Ahepa foundation. The program included favorite songs from the original "Rat Pack," Tony Bennett, and the Andrews Sisters.

The Chinese Fine Arts Society presented a musical concert "Journey Through the Silk Road from the Eyes of the Great Wall" at Sherwood Conservatory Sunday February 25, 2007. CSPS mezzo-soprano Regina Webster was the featured vocalist, singing "On the Way," trio for mezzo-soprano, piano & cello composed by Victoria Bond.
